Karachi, Foundation Public School successfully hosted the 26th FPS Sports Festival 2025, an exciting annual celebration of athletic excellence, teamwork, and school spirit. This year’s event featured over 1,500 students from 26 schools, competing across multiple sports disciplines including Table Tennis, Badminton, Basketball, Throwball, Futsal, and the newly introduced Padel game.
The festival was graced by Mr. Raza Kamal Minhas, Managing Director of Foundation Public School, who attended as the Chief Guest and distributed prizes among the winners, runners-up, and third-position teams. In his remarks, he lauded the students for their commitment, discipline, and sportsmanship, encouraging them to maintain a balance between academic and athletic excellence. Principals and Vice Principals of FPS were also present, commending the students for their spirited performances.
Adding further prestige to the event, several special guests attended to support and motivate the young athletes, including Senior Sports Journalist Mr. Naseem Rajpoot, Former Scotland Cricketer and Commentator Mr. Qasim, Mr. Quddos (Gobis Paints), Mr. Ovais (Akhuwat Foundation), and Mr. Abdul Wahab Sultan (Seccotel). Their presence added great encouragement and highlighted the importance of promoting sports at the grassroots level.
The FPS Sports Festival continues to serve as a premier platform for nurturing young talent and promoting the values of fitness, teamwork, and perseverance. This year’s champions included Foundation Public School (Throwball Girls), Bay View High School (Futsal Boys), Nixor School (Basketball Boys), City PAF Chapter (Basketball Girls), and Haque Academy (Futsal Girls), among other top performers. The event once again reinforced FPS’s commitment to developing well-rounded individuals through sports and education.
