Sindh Olympic Association organized a prestigious and colorful ceremony at thعSindh Olympic Secretariat Office, KMC Sports Complex, Kashmir Road Karachi, in honour of Ms. Sana Ali. The event was attended by leading sports personalities, officials, media representatives, and office-bearers of various sports associations.
Ms. Sana Ali achieved a historic milestone by representing Pakistan at the Asian Beach Games held in Sanya, where she became Pakistan’s first-ever female Chef de Mission. The honour was conferred under the leadership of Arif Saeed and
Khalid Mahmood.
Speaking on the occasion, Ahmed Ali Rajput congratulated Ms. Sana Ali and termed the achievement a proud and historic moment for both Sindh and Pakistan. Secretaries, presidents, and officials affiliated with various sports under the Sindh Olympic Association also paid tribute to her remarkable accomplishment.
In her address, Ms. Sana Ali thanked Almighty Allah and expressed pride that Sindh had earned this honour for the first time in history. She added that the achievement reflected the collective efforts and support of all individuals associated with sports development in the province.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, honorary shields were presented to organizers, office-bearers, and media personalities associated with the 35th National Games. Those honoured included Engineer Mahfooz ul Haq, Jameel Ahmed, Nadeem Khan, Muhammad Qamar Khan, and Kashif Ahmed Farooqui.
