Karachi, (Staff Reporter) On the occasion of the fifth graduation ceremony of Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT), Principal Mr. Shahid Jamil was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his 35 years of dedicated service and exceptional contributions to the institution. The honor, presented by the institute’s management, was described as a historic milestone in AIT’s academic journey and a tribute to his unwavering commitment to educational excellence.
Associated with Aligarh Institute since 1990, Mr. Shahid Jamil has played a pivotal role in the institute’s academic, administrative, and technical development. After assuming the role of Principal in 2022, he led the introduction of modern disciplines including Mechatronics, Software Engineering, Chemical Technology, and Artificial Intelligence, aligning AIT academic programs with contemporary industry demands. His earlier leadership as Head of the CIT and Software Departments significantly contributed to the institute’s growth.
During his tenure as Principal, AIT successfully launched online classes, faculty training programs, project expos, ERP systems, and a mobile application, strengthening its academic infrastructure and reputation across Karachi and Sindh. Convener Syed Muhammad Mohsin Kazim and Chairman Muhammad Akbar Ali Khan praised his vision, leadership, and tireless efforts, while faculty members, students, parents, and distinguished guests warmly celebrated this well-deserved honor.
