Karachi, (Zeeshan Hussain/Sports Reporter) Foundation Public School proudly organized its 26th FPS Sports Festival 2025, which commenced on October 24, bringing together 26 leading schools from across Karachi in a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition. The festival featured five major sports — Table Tennis (Boys & Girls), Throwball (Girls), Futsal (Boys & Girls), Basketball (Boys & Girls), and Padel (Boys).
The competitions witnessed thrilling performances and exceptional talent from young athletes. In Throwball (Girls), Foundation Public School secured 1st place, followed by Happy Palace School and Bay View High School. In Table Tennis (Girls), Dawood Public School’s A and B teams clinched 1st and 2nd positions, while Jaffar Public School stood 3rd. In Table Tennis (Boys), Head Start School took 1st place, Jaffar Public School 2nd, and Foundation Public School earned 3rd.
The Basketball (Boys) category featured intense matchups, with Nixor College, Foundation Public School, Indus Academy, Reflections, Generations, and Head Start School advancing to the quarterfinals. In Basketball (Girls), Generations, FPS OLDC, Head Start School, and Nixor College qualified for the next stage. In Futsal (Boys) Pool A, Karachi Public School topped the group, followed by Bay View High School in 2nd place, while remaining matches continue at Airfield KMC Ground and FPS Junior MAS Campus.
The FPS Sports Festival continues to promote discipline, teamwork, and a spirit of healthy competition, reflecting the school’s commitment to holistic education and youth development through sports excellence.
