Karachi (web Desk) Federal Minister for Education, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, chaired the second meeting of the Board of Governors of the Institute of Technology and Management Sciences, Hyderabad. He said the institute, once only a dream, has been turned into reality through the efforts of MQM Pakistan. Dr. Siddiqui emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to make it a leading educational hub, assuring full federal support including funding and infrastructure development to strengthen academic and research facilities.
He noted that quality, merit-driven education is vital for the progress of Hyderabad and Sindh’s urban centers. The meeting, attended by Rector Dr. Saeeduddin, Registrar Dr. Aqleem Hyder, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Rajput, Dr. Nasir Ansar, and businessman Adil Siddiqui, reviewed the institute’s performance and welcomed the start of work on its 100-acre campus. The board expressed satisfaction with the institute’s direction and approved several key measures aimed at fostering innovation, academic excellence, and sustainable growth.
