KARACHI, (Staff Reporter) Saudi Arabia is strengthening its travel ties with Pakistan by offering more opportunities for Pakistani travellers to explore its diverse destinations, culture, heritage and attractions. From the historic landscapes of AlUla and Diriyah to the vibrant cities of Riyadh and Jeddah, the Red Sea coastline and emerging destinations such as Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia is expanding its range of experiences for visitors. Pakistan remains one of Saudi’s key priority markets in the Asia-Pacific region, reflecting strong travel links and growing interest in the destination.
Pakistani travellers will also have opportunities to experience Saudi closer to home, as the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) engages travellers, media and tourism partners through Flavors of Saudi in Karachi and the Lahore Roadshow – Saudi Unlocked on August 13. The events will highlight Saudi cuisine, culture, heritage and destinations.
Meanwhile, major developments such as Qiddiya are adding new entertainment, sports and cultural experiences, while The Red Sea is creating a distinctive luxury tourism offering based on natural landscapes, hospitality and experience-led travel travel connectivity between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is also set to improve further. Riyadh Air will commence operations in Pakistan this month, with direct flights from Islamabad to Riyadh starting August 14, followed by Lahore-Riyadh services from August 18. In September, Flyadeal will launch its first Karachi-Madinah flight on September 6, providing additional convenience for Pakistani travellers. With expanded air connectivity and a growing portfolio of destinations and experiences, Saudi Arabia is offering Pakistani visitors more opportunities to explore its culture, heritage, modern attractions and Red Sea destinations.
