Karachi, (web Desk) Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT) Karachi successfully hosted a two-day technical event, Electromania 2026, highlighting students’ intellectual capabilities, creativity, and practical electronics skills. The event was organized under the supervision of Head of the Electronics Department Saqib Noor, with coordination by Engineer Sidra Aziz and Engineer Hafsa Israr, and active support from students and faculty.
The event aimed to enhance students’ hands-on understanding of electronics, promote creative thinking, and strengthen professional competencies. A large number of students participated enthusiastically, demonstrating strong engagement with applied learning.
On day one, an awareness seminar titled “Speak to Impact” focused on effective communication and presentation skills for technical students. This was followed by interactive activities including “Sort-O-Tronics,” “Electro Dart,” and other educational exercises designed to explain core electronics concepts in an engaging and practical manner.
The second day featured “Quiztronic,” a technical quiz competition that tested students’ conceptual clarity and analytical skills. The “Brain to Board” circuit-designing activity allowed participants to convert theoretical knowledge into practical electronic solutions, showcasing innovation and technical proficiency. All activities were aligned with the electronics curriculum.
Addressing the event, Principal Shahid Jamil said such technical initiatives prepare students to meet real-world challenges beyond classroom learning. Convener Syed Muhammad Mohsin Kazim termed the event an effective platform for teamwork, confidence building, and problem-solving skills. Head of Department Saqib Noor emphasized that the objective of Electromania was to present electronics education in a simple, practical, and impactful way.
Electromania 2026 emerged as a successful and memorable academic initiative, reinforcing Aligarh Institute of Technology’s commitment to quality technical education.
