Karachi: The Karachi Hockey Association (KHA) successfully organized the 35th National Games trials at the Olympian Hanif Khan & Dr. Junaid Ali Shah KHA Sports Complex, Main University Road, Karachi.
The trials were conducted under the supervision of Selection Committee Chairman Olympian Iftekhar Syed, along with a panel comprising Olympian Waseem Feroz, International Laiq Lashari, International Tasleem Usmani, International player Salman Sheikh, Ms. Mahya Moin, Ms. Sameera Naseem, and Ms. Batool Kazim. District Sports Officer Ismail Shah also supervised the proceedings.
President KHA Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah attended the trials, encouraging the young athletes to perform their best during the trials and upcoming National Games. President KHA Women Wing Asma Ali Shah was also present to motivate the girls’ contingent.
More than 100 boys participated in the trials, out of which 48 players were selected from the Karachi region. Similarly, 50 girls took part in the trials, with 24 players shortlisted for the Sindh Team Trials.

The Karachi Hockey Association congratulated all the selected players and extended best wishes for their success in the upcoming National Games.
The final Sindh Girls Trials will be held on Saturday, 11 October 2025, at 3:00 pm, while the Sindh Boys Trials are scheduled for Sunday, 12 October 2025, at 3:00 pm, both at the same venue.
