Lahore, (Sports Desk) The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced a revised schedule for the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League, which will now be held from 26 March to 3 May 2026 across two cities—Lahore and Karachi. The decision has been made in consultation with the Government of Pakistan, keeping in view national austerity and resource conservation measures. Media organizations have also been advised to use the league’s official nomenclature, “HBL PSL,” in all coverage.
Under the updated schedule, the tournament will feature 44 matches over 39 days, with Lahore and Karachi hosting 22 matches each. The opening fixture between Hyderabad Kingsmen and Lahore Qalandars will proceed as planned. Lahore will host Eliminator 1, Eliminator 2, and the final, while the Qualifier match is scheduled to take place in Karachi.
To align with national priorities, the event has temporarily adopted a watch-from-home model, limiting matches to two venues instead of six. While stadium crowds will be missed, the move aims to reduce pressure on energy resources and operational logistics. The league will introduce enhanced broadcast features to ensure an improved viewing experience, with the HBL PSL expected to remain one of the most widely watched sporting events in the country.
