Karachi, by (Zeeshan Hussain) Grand Master Najm Khan and Director Amir Shah from Karachi Vocational Centre are set to lead a team of special children to participate in the upcoming Para Taekwondo Championship. The event is scheduled to take place in two locations: Japan from April 27 to May 3 and Malaysia from May 5 to 7. This will not be the team’s first foray into international competitions. In 2019, they won three gold medals with a team of 18 children, and in 2023, they secured gold medals again with a team of six children, Grand Master Najm Khan emphasized the centre’s efforts to promote special children in sports, providing them with opportunities to showcase their talents on the global stage. Dr. Farhan Isa emphasized the potential of special players, highlighting their ability to training alongside normal players and achieve success in the playing field he stressed the importance of inclusivity and equal opportunities in sports, showcasing the determination and capabilities of special athletes.
